>> 70 millions of YouTube views - that's impressive. But your band has been around for a while...
Have you developed a method of creating hits, or it was just pure chance?
>> I can't really say it was just pure chance, it wouldn't be fair, although it is true in
some way. I think it is an effect of our work over the years and it was just our another
proposal for our fifth album and see what happened... You might just be happy that the
song was loved by so many people and that they like to hum it... Even non-Poles like
it and from what I know it's going pretty strong in Europe in dance clubs...
[Music] I adore her she is here
and she dances for me because she knows well
that I gonna kidnap her and hide deep in my heart.
>> I am delighted that all these years haven't been in vain. Because apart from "Ona tanczy
dla mnie (She dances for me)" we have many other nice songs, we were well known for many
of these songs, for example "Za milosc ma (for my love)". When that song saw the daylight
back in 2003, it also somehow went into the air and flowed nicely. I heard it on many
occasion as it was popular for example as a ring tone, but it was "Ona tanczy dla
mnie" that knocked it all out. Many say that it is in the way crowning of all that
tedious, arduous... Or maybe not tedious and arduous, as I love what I do, I love to be
on stage, to play gigs, it's my life and passion, but it was an effect of these 13 years of
work, an icing on the cake.
>> How would you explain that phenomenon that of all these people who listen to your music,
some don't want to admit they do?
>> This is dance music, formerly disco polo, although in my view it has nothing in common
with the former, it just has it roots in it. Tree without roots will fall, so I won't say
deny that I do or don't play it, as many people would class us as disco polo. It's just native
Polish music, it comes from our roots, it lies dormant in all of us and this is why
so many people reach for that music. I think it would be a blasphemy to call ourselves
a superband. Only our results, statistics, listeners and fans speak for that. Even if
you have millions of fans, many of them coming to your gigs, you should just be happy about
that. It's ephemeral and you should cherish every moment of this as there was no tomorrow,
as it won't last forever.
>> Thank you
[Music] I like to move it, move it...
