Oh hey, so it’s Mike here!
And Alais.
we’ve got Parka as well. And we are in Moss Park in downtown Toronto building a new community park
in the style of Georgian Bay Islands National Park.
Like Mike explained, today we’re in Moss Park in Toronto.
And we’re in the process of constructing a community park that’s inspired by Georgian Bay Islands National Park.
So let’s get to work.
Let’s do it!
Hey guys, welcome back to Moss Park and I’m with:
Brandon Weeks
Alright Brandon, are you a volunteer here today?
Yes I am actually.
What do you think about youth connecting to nature right now?
I think that it’s very important. I don’t believe that many youth care so much about nature.
So, to come out here and see with their friends and their family and see others getting involved with it.
It’s very important.
So for those of you who don’t know who I am, I’m Deep Thoughts (A.K.A. DT), international hip hop artist.
For all the youth out there who have never been out of the city, it’s time to get up off the couch,
make your way outside, tell mom and dad it’s time to find some nature.
I think we can all agree here that everyone loves nature. Am I right?
Yes, for sure.
And we love the clean litter free park?
We love it.
We love the clean oxygen?
We love the clean oxygen. Breathing is important.
Breathing is important. Clean sparkling drinking water?
Yes.
We like to drink clean drinking water?
We like it.
We like drinks in general?
We like drinks.
How about a drink with me tonight?
I don’t think so.
How about a drink with Parka tonight?
I’ll go for a drink with Parka.
Everybody loves Parka.
So, we’re almost done here at Moss Park for the day. We accomplished so much.
We have an amazing soccer pitch, an awesome community garden,
and overall just a great place for Torontonians to hang out for the day.
And we’d like to take this chance to thank our volunteers and our partners, without whom the day’s events and the Park couldn’t exist.
So stay tuned, get involved. We’ll be doing amazing events just like this across the country all summer long.

80’s high five!
Come on! Come on! Come on! I’m on the road- I’m on the road again. I’m on the road- I’m on the road again.
Live in the moment. Tomorrow ain’t promising nothing. So I’m always on the road to new destinations.
New cities, new sites, new things to see. I’m being in Toronto as you can see. I’m with the Youth Ambassadors.
Parks Canada! Go check ‘em out. That’s how we do it.
