but I lived in the Dallas Fort Worth area
and every day he went to the airport because he figured hey there's business people there
they're flying they're away from their family a lot of people are probably career frustrated in
the airport and he handed out about 30 business cards a day and that's how he found his people
and you know
the industry as a whole is 3 percenters stacked upon three percenters stacked upon three percenters
well Dale what are you talking about
there's a CD that you can access online it's called
Why the Masses of MLM Network Marketing Distributors
Are Frustrated, Confused, and Don't Have a Clue What They're Doing
and thats
in your tlc-university.com/001
you can access that audio which is basically
a book that we wrote several years ago and it describes the three types of people in
the industry three percenters
twenty seven percent of the seventy percenters
seventy percent of the people are not going to make it in in TLC or any other company
seventy percent of the people die with their music still in them and that's just the way it is they
never fulfill their potential
three percent of people have the attitude get out of my way I am going to do it with or
without you
and there's some three percenters listening to me right now and this will probably
be the last course that you ever
listen to you because again
you don't get this concept
you know you've been successful at everything in life you ever done you'll be successful
in this and you know you might but
one day you'll realize that you're not the issue
a duplicable system is
and one day you either or get out of this industry
or you'll become a statistic or real come back to this
unified duplacatable system that
TLC has put together for you
the people that this program is really designed for is the twenty seven percenters
the good honest hard-working people
they're teachable they just need direction and that's what we're going to be giving you in this
course okay now let me get back to the article
sharing with them the tools I thought had made
me successful
I now know
that none of those systems really resulted in my success
I didn't understand that until I met with Dr. Albert Bandura
of Stanford University
Dr Bandura is a former President of the American Psychological Association and
been a Stanford Psychologist for forty years
He's written 10
PHD level
cognitive
psychological textbooks
and now in his seventies is one of the most quoted psychologists on the planet
we spent hours picking the mind of this brilliant man
he was very humble and willing to admit
the majority of positive thinking experts are essentially using technology from the forties and fifties
ideas from Maxwell Maltz's books like a Psycho-Cybernetics
and Think and Grow Rich
What we wanted to understand from Dr. Bandura was
had there been any break throughs in cognitive areas
and has there been as many as there's been in technical areas in the last few years
we discovered that indeed there have
but no one has been willing
or able to translate
these complex books
and the breakthroughs they contain into languages that the masses
can understand
so what's the best success system?
there's too many people going around teaching competency skills when it's really a question
of paradimes
they give people to success
let me tell you what we've learned
the biggest problem I see in network marketing today
is ambiguity or uncertainty
by that time a company gets to a hundred million dollars in sales
they have fifty or sixty people promoting different
systems
videos
audios and training materials
almost every one of those
are very good
the problem is
ambiguity
that results when I sign you up
as a new distributor and train you in my process
which has worked to get me where I am
and then a week later
or two months later another successful leader in the company blasts in the town
gives a speech at the Hyatt with the a totally different
video and training system
although systems are effective
and many of the leaders are making money selling them now
let me stop here for just a second
that is the industry
if you look at any company that's been around ten years or longer and had success
it's full of leaders at the top that are all teaching and preaching
different ways to do the business so what happens
the masses get involved they come to the company conference
the grandmother gets up and talks about how she made
ninety seven thousand dollars last month and this is what she did and then the next speaker
is a young couple
that's doing the exact opposite of the grandmother
and the people leave conferences all over this country fired up but confused
it creates confusion and we don't get it
okay back
I've talked to a number of company presidents who all say the same thing if we could simply
get everybody on the same page
we could get to ten billion
that's what we're doing with TLC University
everybody has the chance to get plugged into the program
get on the same page
create unified, everybody together unity to create separation when you
your company you separate yourself from all of the masses that are out there that's what
we're doing with the TLC university
and again get to ten billion
so let me make one recommendation
I think will help you immensely
get with the best person upline
from you
follow his or he system and stay with it until you get to a hundred thousand dollars a month
you get somebody in your company making that kind of revenue
you're interested in making get involved with them learned their system
most systems are good
but the
the concern the results from shifting every two to three months is what drives most professionals
out of the industry
before new paradimes will work you need to have perseverance in one system
Dr Bandura pointed out to us that over the years over and over again
an example using companies like IBM or Xerox
what would happen
if you were to take
their twelve regional managers
train them each in different methodology for doing and marketing their products
and then say
I want all of you to go back
to your region's and each month one of you is going to schedule into another person's region
to teach the antithesis of what
their teaching
in other words
we're going to have twelve regional managers one coming in every month and every month
they're going to teach a different way to do the business
within six months back to the article within six months IBM and Xerox would be in
Chapter Eleven
yet that is the very
nature of our industry
great people
walk away from this business not because the system
