My name is Mehak Kaur; I am a +2 student from Firozpur.
My sister has been adopted by my uncle. My father passed away in 2011 and our household income relies on my late grandfather's pension.
Today i will share with you my experience of Sehaj Paat. Even though i am from a Hindu family, since i started a Sehaj Paat i have started added 'Kaur' to my name and I now prefer to adopt the Sikh culture. I have also started going
Gurdwara now. How did it start? One day in our Prayer hall assembly, Guru
Nanak Multiversity's team visited my school in which they preached Sehaj paat to us and
how Gurbani recitation could overcome all obstacles. I
then started a Sehaj paat, it has been a year so far and I have read over half of Maharaj.
When i read gurbani my heart feels calm, as if i am
sharing my secrets with god. I gain confidence from Gurbani that all my wishes can be fulfilled.
This multiversity helps those students who are not financially strong to achieve their
career aspirations. I also believe that my career goals will be met.
