Hey guys this is Hugo Izzo with Expert Village. This section is on rules and regulations as
they pertaining to quail and dove hunting. Again every state in the United States and
I'm sure in other places around the world have rules and regulations and have handbooks
you can get on websites , the state websites, to find out information or you can pick one
up at Wal-Mart or different places around that sell hunting licenses. This one for North
Carolina has every piece of information that you need to know as an informed hunter. The
rules and regulations are all; you have to follow these things, and every state requires
different kinds of licenses that you may have to purchase in order to hunt quail or dove.
As you look at the regulations there are some that you can only hunt at certain times of
the day: certain portions before light, in the afternoon and evening up to dusk. You
need to make sure that you are aware of these because it's very, very important that as
a hunter you are informed with the different rules. Some may go as far as talking about
baiting options and we may talk about some of that in a little while. Quail I know they
have things you can plant and feed with feeders, with dove there are some specific requirements
as they talk about baiting and you just want to make sure that you are aware of what they
are. A little trick and we don't mean to plug anyone, but Bass Pro Shops you can get on
their web and you can go and look at any state in the United States and they have a section
there for hunting licenses and you can get on that and go immediately to the states web
sites and check out the specific rules and regulations those states have.
