Welcome to a new tutorial.
Today it goes again to Minecraft.
Namely how you can install Minecraft on Linux.
I just recently involved using Linux.
I know nothing about yet.
But I get Minecraft to work and it's really not difficult.
We are working under Linux Mint with the MATE interface.
yeah.
And the first step: We're downloading the minecraft.jar from minecraft.net.
so.
Click on "Download"
Downloading the minecraft.jar. This is the launcher.
Saving this file.
Go to our download directory.
yeah.
Now we can place this file somewhere.
I store it in "Documents"
It is important now to click on "properties".
Now on "permissions"
Mark it as executable.
The file should be opened with "OpenJDK Java 6 Runtime".
This must be marked here.
Then we can create a shortcut.
Creating a shortcut. Take it on the desktop.
Come on.
Well.
Rename it to "Minecraft" for example.
Ta-Da, it's running.
Yeah.
We can now choose a beautiful symbol.
We just go to "properties" and click on that symbol.
Where is it?
There!
We open it.
And now Minecraft is installed.
As you can see it was a very short tutorial.
I hope you get everything.
See you!
