Hey everybody, this is Lloyd Irvin and I am super excited to share something with you
today I am calling the Lloyd Irvin leglockstick. For the very first time in the last 16 years,
I have never shown this to anyone outside of my school, within my school I have probably
showed in the last 16 years probably 30 people, and out of those 30 people only 3 people in
the last 16 years have ever done this. What this leglockstick is going to allow you to
do is it is going to teach you how to break someone's leg, it is going to teach you how
to catch someone in a hold and not get tired because let me tell you, one of the fears
about doing leg locks because I tried it, you do a triangle, you bring your legs out
and the same thing with a leg lock, you go for a leg lock, you go against somebody who
is tough and they are not tapping and you burn yourself out and then your arms are burnt
out for the rest of the match and things can go bad.
But, what I am going to show you right now is I am going to show you how to build a Lloyd
Irvin leglockstick. I am going to give you a way throughout this video I am going to
have you go to lloydirvinleglockstick.com, that's lloydirvinleglockstick.com. All you
have to do is enter your name and e-mail address there and for the next 6 weeks I am going
to give you e-mails that show you exactly how to use this. I am going to tell you the
amount of reps to do it. I am going to tell you how long to hold it. I am going to tell
you what to do with your left arm. I am going to tell you what to do with your right arm.
I am going to show you some of my favorite holds. I am going to show you my V-hold. I
am going to show you one of the strongest straight-ankle lock holds there is in the
world. Like I said, I am going to give you a 6-week training absolutely free. All you
have to do is go to Lloydirvinleglockstick.com after you watch this video but I am going
to show you how to make your leglockstick first.
Let me tell you this about leg locks. When you do a leg lock in class you have some people
who will tap from pain. The way that I do my leg locks and the way I teach my students
to do leg locks is the way everyone throughout the world should do leg locks. You should
do the leg locks to break.
Leg me do a disclaimer here. You should consult with a physician, you should talk to your
instructor. What I am teaching you here is only for people that are high level. I do
not authorize you if you want to go out, I am not telling anyone to go out and break
a leg, but I am saying at a professional level you have to do a submission hold with the
intent to break a leg and the pressure to break a leg because if you do not what is
going to happen is you will get used to people in class tapping from just pressure, tapping
because it hurts, and let me trust you with this. In 1999 I was in Brazil and I competed
in probably 10 championships with brown belts, black belts. It was a team championship. I
was competing against a guy from Gracie Barra and I caught him in a leg lock. I was down
9-0. I caught him in a leg lock, I switched to the V, I switched my other hold and then
I switched to what I consider the tightest straight ankle lock angelology. I'm not going
to talk about that now, but outside of angelology I caught him in the strongest straight angle
lock that I know. I am going to show you once you go to Lloydirvinleglockstick.com and get
the free digital. I am going to share that with you throughout the 6-week lessons.
But, I caught him in this position and I looked at him and his face was stoic, not making
any expression and my volition is strong. Most people at this point would tap and the
key thing is I know he may be holding on and then he looked at me and I put my final (hip)
and the pressure on it and the next thing I know I heard this (holy cow his foot just
rip strength), brrrrrah, and he looked at me like mmmmhhh and he didn't tap and he came
up and he got out and then we kept working and I ended up losing but he couldn't continue
and I broke his foot, but the point is because of this leglockstick I am going to show you
how to make at my website and I am going to share with you how to increase your leg lock
hold, how to increase your power, how to increase everything about leg lock holds for straight
ankle, this is only for straight ankle, not going into heel holds right now.
Right now I am going to share with you how to make this stick. First you have to go to
Home Depot or Lowe's or anywhere like that and pick up a stick. This cost me $3 or $4.
Then you are going to need some duct tape. I have different colors, purple, red, yellow,
black, grey depending, you may want to be silly and make the stick your school colors,
your logo colors or whatever your favorite is, it doesn't matter, the color of the stick
doesn't really matter but I have these so you can see that you can use different ones.
Then you need to stop by the paper and pick up some papers. I have this paper, I have
*** Bulger convicted on 31 counts from Boston, crazy stuff. So, you have this paper
and what we are going to do is we are going to take one sheet like this, we put it down
like this, give yourself some room and then we are going to fold it. Once you fold it
take some tape. We aren't going to tape it all the way right now. Take the next sheet.
I am going to tell you right now, if you use this stick and create it and practice like
I am going to show you and share with you over the next 6 weeks you are going to be
able to take your leg lock ability to an all new level. Right now even if you have a strong
hold right now this is going to teach you and allow you to make your hold much stronger.
I am going to give you the entire protocol.
If you ever try to leg lock somebody in class or a tournament, working on a leg lock you
may have heard their leg pop, maybe you didn't hear it pop but they didn't tap and then you
were burnt out, tired, fatigued well, that will all be solved with the Lloyd Irvin leglockstick
right here. The Lloyd Irvin leglockstick will solve all your problems. I wanted to do something
real cool for everybody in the grappling world and that's why I'm doing a 6-week free training.
I am going to share with you my exact hold that I am doing. I am going to give you the
protocols, the systems, and at the of this video I am also going to share with you, I
am going to bring in one of my students who is one of the 3 that have done it in the entire
16 years and share with you what he calls the Lloyd Irvin leglockstick 2.0. I am going
to talk about that too.
What you are doing with the newspaper is you are trying to take the newspaper and get to
a point where it is the size of someone's ankle when you squeeze it. We're not there
right now so you keep on going until you get to the size of the average person's ankle. If you are a really big guy and you
are going against big guys or in a competition and you are going to go against really big
guys you want to get the ankle to the point of the normal size of a big person. We're
starting to get close. Now right here once I start getting close the key thing is for
me to tighten it down. Let me see if I can get this here quick. I want to tighten it
down so that I can see if it is really close to a person's ankle size. Right here I am
putting pressure to make it tight. I want to test it real quick. Once you do this you
and get it down tight as I can then I will put another layer down. I need one more layer.
I need to know how it feels. I need one more layer here. Make sure you tighten it at this
point. We want it tight, nice and tight.
I am going to tell you this is going to work wonders for you because I am not sure about
you but the fact is leg locks are definitely one of those positions that if you don't do
it correctly and you burn yourself out and you are not able to make the person tap it
is harder to recover in a match. Some people are in a situation when they (fight) where
they typically have the ability to go for a leg lock they are a little bit tired from
that, but because of the fear or the thought about burning themselves out they don't go
for it and if they went for it they were caught in the match. That's why you have guys who
are real leg lockers that always go for the leg lock and they just believe in it and sometimes
even then you live by the sword you die by the sword, sometimes they get in a situation
where they burn themselves out. The drills they are doing, that they are using something
like the Lloyd Irvin leglockstick but if you use the Lloyd Irvin leglockstick and do it
just right I am going to show you over the next 6 weeks you have great success not only
with finishing it but not getting burnt out, and when you have the confidence that you
are not going to burn out it makes you go harder with leg holds.
I am going to show you some drills that you can do that will make your leg holds 10 times
more prevalent for the ultimate purpose of what? If your opponent doesn't tap 11:57.
So now we are pretty close. I'm good. It feels good. Right now what I am going to do is I
am going to lock down the bottom half. Right here. Nice and tight like this. Right here.
See, I am moving it own to the tip now. We have it structured in nice and tight. Now
I have the bottom taken care of so it's not sliding down any more. The same thing relative
to the top part. Lock that in right here. We'll press that down. Right now it is very
important that you put a lot of pressure here, pulling this down, bring it down more, have
that down and I squeeze it down so now I have locked in the top and bottom. They are locked. They are not moving any more. Now
we come to the middle part and we lock the stick in.
A lot of my students were angry that I was going to show this but I don't care right
now because I have been showing this for 16 years inhouse on my own team. Everyone loves
it, everyone that (plays) with one of these sticks they see the benefit of it but they
don't do it. That's one of the problems when you are trying to get people to do stuff.
Only 3% of the population will ever do it so I am going to share this with the entire
world. I already know less than 3% of the population that watch this video will go out
and make a Lloyd Irvin leglockstick, go back home and practice it. For the next 6 weeks
I am going to send you 1 video per week. I am going to send you a couple e-mails on some
other things but I am going to send 1 video per week for 6 weeks. I am going to show you
my different leg lock holds, I am going to tell you exactly how to do it so you don't
have to guess. You don't know well, should I do it for 30 seconds? Should I do it for
20 seconds? Should I do 10 seconds on and 5 seconds off? Should I do 10 seconds off,
5 seconds off. You don't have to guess. I am going to share with you exactly the most
efficient and most effective ways to do it to practice. If you follow my e-mails and
go to www.lloydirvinleglotstick.com and enter your name and e-mail address you will be receiving
the 6-week online training, how to use the Lloyd Irvin leglockstick. If you follow my
advice I guarantee you this in 6 weeks however strong your leg locks are right now, it will
be 10,000 times stronger. On top of that, in the first 90 days I promise you your leg
lock game will change forever.
So, right now as you can see how you come down, I could get fancy, I could make it prettier,
but you get the point. So, right here your Lloyd Irving leglockstick. What I want you
to do right now before I bring on my student and show you the Lloyd Irvin leglockstick
2.0, I want you to go to www.thelloydirvinleglockstick.com, that's the lloydirvinleglockstick.com, enter
your name and e-mail address in there so you can begin our 6-week online virtual training
from Lloyd Irvin, the grappling coach, aka the grappler renegade.
So, I am going to be right back and I am going to bring student on and we will continue this
lesson. Alright, like I said I am going to bring my student. This is Lenny Maggio, some
people know him. This is the Lloyd Irvin leglockstick. I showed you how to make it. I did it in 8
minutes, 10 minutes, 7 minutes, however long it took, so I am going to throw this on the
mat, and this is what you call the Lloyd Irvin leglockstick 2.0, but I have some complaints
with it and I am going to give you my positioning on it. First of all Lenny, how are you doing
Lennie? Lenny is very well versed in the straight ankle. He is a fond lover of leg locks, but
there is a problem. Lenny, you have been training for a long time here at Lloyd Irvin Martial
Arts Academy and you have heard me talk about the leglockstick. How many years did it take
for you to hear me talk about the leglockstick, and see me with the leglockstick, and talk
about how valuable the leglockstick is before you actually applied it?
Lenny: It was definitely a few years, at least 3 to 4. Maybe a little more. Maybe 5.
And then there was a tournament, I think was it a world or Pan Am?
Lenny: I think it was world.
So, world, were in the world in the 2nd or 3rd match whatever and you have a guy in the
hold, he catches the hold, it should be over.
Lenny: It should be over.
What happened?
Lenny: It wasn't over.
It wasn't over, and when it wasn't over Lenny said no problem. Sometimes people get out
of it. No problem. There is no guarantee of anything, but once it was over and the guy
was no longer in the leg lock at this point the guy was out and now you continue doing
jiu-jitsu but Lenny wasn't able to continue doing jiu-jitsu because he was too tired.
He was burnt out, and at the end of the match he lost and his day was over. The entire year
working towards the world was over, and when he came to the side he looked at me like...
Lenny: I have to get a leglockstick.
I'm not saying that the leglockstick would have had him win the world championship or
had him win whatever he was doing, but I guarantee you, I promise you that it would have had
him not burning out from the leg lock. So what Lenny has done, talk a little bit about
what you did here.
Lenny: It's pretty much the same exact thing you did already. I just added foam insulation
to kind of mimic like a muscle. It's on top this plus the newspaper wrapper on top of
that and it's really, really tight too by the way.
It's tighter, but see the reason he calls it a 2.0, and I disagree with it, is because
of this. Right now when you go to LloydIrvinleglockstick.com and enter your name and e-mail address in
there and you get the lessons for the next 6 weeks you are going to realize that I do
not want you to have any cushion. I want you going straight through the tape, straight
through the newspaper directly to the wooden stick. Get your arm so we can condition. If
you do 19:56 kick it back, kick it back, kick it back and over time your skin will get conditioned.
I need your arm... you will see once you all receive my 6-week lesson where I like to put
my placement and so forth, but wherever we put our placement we need to build condition
for that part of our arm. We have to build condition so that we can apply that without
hurting ourselves because when you first start with the Lloyd Irvin leglockstick you are
going to hurt yourself. You are going to feel pain. You are going to feel pressure.
Like I said, make sure you consult a doctor and talk with them before you try to use the
Lloyd Irvin leglockstick. This is only for demonstration purposes. I do not recommend
that you actually go get a stick. Like I said, if you do it you are doing it on your own
accord and whatever happens to you happens to you, but if you decide to do it you are
going to have pain in those spots. You will have pain in those spots and then over time
with week 1, and week 2, and week 3 and week 4 the pain will go and now you can apply the
pressure and the pain is only transferring to your opponent's leg. It is an amazing thing.
I will talk about this a lot more in detail. I will talk about 21:01 systems procedure,
you will find the system, but go to our website and enter your name and e-mail address and
you will get that information.
But, please do not go get a rubber thing right away. Now, it is fine for Lenny though because
Lenny always did the original one and if you do the original one and now your arms are
numb and your fine then it is okay if you want to do this and make it tighter and start
doing some of your holds, if you start doing advanced angelology, a lot of different things
that's fine. Now, you can take this Lloyd Irvin leglockstick and modify it however you
want to do it. There are lots of ways. I just wanted to show you a basic way that you can
take duct tape, a $3 or $4 stick, you probably have one in your school right now, you may
have one at your house, you take a plunger, anything that is a stick, it doesn't have
to be this long, and once we are doing our 6-week training you will see why I like going
with this length because it incorporates our legs and we will be able do a triangle and
we are going to do lots of different things where if you only have a stick that you are
just working on your arms with then you won't have the ability to train your legs. It is
very important to train with your legs.
So, with that being said I hope you go and get a stick, get some duct tape, get some
newspaper and make yourself a Lloyd Irvin leglockstick, and most importantly make sure
you go to my website to join me for 6 weeks of training.
I will tell you this, only 3% of the population of the world will ever do that, but I guarantee
that the 3% of the population that actually does this will take their leg lock holds and
their conditioning and their stability with their holds to an entire different level.
With that being said, this is Lloyd Irvin aka the grappling coach, the grappler renegade.
Peace.
