Go ahead and start at the top of the floor...top of your mat (laughter)
You can just close your eyes,
Draw your attention to your breath
Noticing the floor below you, noticing your distribution on your feet
Maybe leaning toward the front, the back
No judgement, just kind of noticing.
Shift your weight back and forth, side to side, just see what it feels like.
Um, Art of Living is about creating a one world family,
and, we try to strengthen the individual
so that we can reduce their stress in life, and they spread the happiness around them.
And through that we want to create a violence-free, stress- free campus.
And,uh, we're a part of the international organization called the Art of Living Club, or the Art of Living organization,
and, um, we try the same goals, just worldwide.
So, for the free weekly yoga we just try to offer this little mini break in the middle of the week, Wednesday...
uh, to de-stress, and just forget about everything.
So you come in, you play a little game, you forget about all the work that you have to do.
And you do some yoga, and you relax.
We do a little meditation, and by the time you're done with it, you're relaxed and ready to go back to work.
So it completely gives you this one hour where you're not worried about any of your
uh, homeworks, your midterms, or your job or anything that you might have that's stressing you out.
Oh, uh, my favorite part is the meditation.
It's kinda like give me inner silence.
Uh, I'd say especially the meditation.
Um, we always do different types of meditations, so it's interesting.
It's free! (laughter)...
Um, yoga, meditation, and the people are chill, cool.
Um, I'd say probably, probably mostly the people.
There's just, made a lot of good friends, and it's just fun to get to see everyone, and just have fun.
I've come to know so many people that have become my really good friends,
and, I think I'll, um, I'll be friends with them all my life.
Um, how should I say this.
There isn't a single person in this world who shouldn't get involved in this club.
And, really it helps you to let go of all your stress
that we take on ourselves everyday.
and worry about how we're going to get through the day.
Instead of that, life becomes a celebration.
So this, this is really for everyone, everyone out there.
Whoever wants to join, whoever wants to let go of their stress.
