Hello everyone, so here's a really interesting title, it's called Bounty Hunter.
Now essentially it's like
Borderlands and Borderlands 2 if you've ever played those games on the consoles or the PC
very similar game. It has cell shading animation, it's a post-apocalyptic world, you have to
do quests and missions for people
out in a wasteland.
It has multiplayer PVP
and it also has 4-player co-op yes, 4-player co-op on a first person shooter
on a mobile game.
To say that this is something of a watershed moment in mobile gaming and
online gaming
probably an underestimation. This is a really well-made game
the graphics are fantastic
the whole kind of
way it's been put together, the kind of riffing off Borderlands is just
so well done. Some of the controls can be a little bit twitchy and it can occasionally be
difficult to pick up power-up and weapons and armour etcetera
but a lot of that comes down to the fact that you know you are on a mobile device
and things can't always be as fluid as you might like but as you can see the
graphics are just top notch for a mobile title.
The whole point of the game is to complete the missions that the npcs
give you, to upgrade your gear, gaining better weaponry and so on that you find lying around
but also you can buy from the shops. It's basically everything you would expect from
Borderlands, also idSoft's game Rage a lot of very
big similarities here between those games and this particular one. Now here
I've jumped in to some co-op play and I've managed to pick on something that is way way too big and
hard for me so I'm gonna run and try and get some help from everybody else.
The co-op works well although I would say that the quality of the
people you're playing with's internet connection does come in
quite big here. You'll see people hopping and popping around as they're doing their
rubber banding. What I would suggest if you're going to be playing Bounty Hunter with
your friends is make sure you guys are all on wifi. There is not a lot of
of point trying to do this over a 3G connection or a 4G at the moment.
It's just too laggy.
It is though a really well-made game and certainly the promises here. If you're
playing this with your friends you're all on decent internet connection you could easily see
this being a game you're playing for two or three hours on an evening.
It's that good. It has everything you kind of need from a first-person shooter from
a massive multiplayer game and from something offering co-op and it's done in a
way that just screams quality.
It's a remarkable game and one that I would
thoroughly recommend you all check out this weekend.
