The average per people expenditure for kids in elementary and secondary education
is about seventy five hundred dollars a year that's what it costs to educate them.
To educate kid with a disability, the average is about five thousand
dollars more. So if we're cutting in half
the number of kids who need special education as a result of getting their
early intervention needs met and needs met early before they go to
school there's a net plus from a pure crass and financial measurement
that's good for all of us. Doesn't mean every kid isn't gonna need
something but we can make sure that those kids need less because they need
less. Their gonna have a better chance to graduate with a
standard diploma. They're gonna have a better chance to go to college. They're gonna have
better chance to go to trade school. Whatever it is that's right for them
but to be able to leave school with that standard diploma, leave high school...
will change the rest of their lives.
