is the second highest cause of loss of productivity in business. Inactivity (after smoking) is
the second highest cause of staff illness and absence from work, so let's pay attention
to that. Let's think about getting people active each and every day. For every ten hours
sitting at a desk you need at least thirty minutes of full on activity to balance that
up, to keep the oxygen going to the brain. Without oxygen getting to the brain your people
are going to be losing concentration, losing focus, making mistakes and their energy will
be low. Keep your people active. Every dollar that a company invests in employee wellbeing
saves the company nearly six dollars in savings, that's even without the increase in productivity.
