In this clip, we're going to do an overhead press with a side squat. Now, if you're at
the beach you can always bring some equipment with you to help your exercises. I have a
medicine ball here, it's eight pounds. And, a Resist-A-Band tubing. Ok. Now, so you can
use either one of these to increase the intensity of your workout. You could also grab some
rocks for your overhead press. And, press up with some rocks if you didn't have any
equipment with you. So, what we're going to do is you're going to press up. Bring the
knee up at the same time and squat. Leg back in. Press up, knee up and squat. Come back
to center. Make sure the knees don't go forward or the toes. You're going to the side, strengthening
the quads the hams and the gluts. Ok. Step it back in. Of course, we also have our band
option. This is nice and lightweight. You can carry it to the beach to help increase
the intensity of your workout. Now, remember there's different levels of these resistance
type bands. This is one of the lighter ones. Ok. You're going to push up, bring that knee
in and press to the side. Bring that leg back together, arms down. One more time. You have
your hands with the palms facing up towards the ceiling or the sky. Press up, knee up
and squat to the side. Then, bring that leg back together.
