Here's how you measure distances using the IRSA Viewer. For this example, while I'm using
the IRSA Viewer, the same capability is available in other IRSA tools that have this same look-and-feel.
Once you have an image loaded, you can click on the distance tool. And then click and drag
to measure distances. If you click on the layers tool here, you can control what units
the offsets are calculated in, whether you want degrees, arcminutes, or arcseconds. If
you leave it in arcminutes, this line is 4.4 arcminutes long, about 3.9 arcminutes north-south,
and about 2.1 arcminutes east-west. This angle here is this angle as measured out on this
triangle. If you don't like the color, you can change it, or you can delete the line
you've just drawn entirely.
