LEED certification is the standard that measures a building's sustainability. In recent years
the LEED program has been expanded to not only just buildings, but entire neighborhoods
and communities.
The benefits of a LEED certified building is obviously it's good on the environment,
but you can also achieve local, state, and federal incentives. And probably the greatest
part is many tenants have a global initiative to reduce their carbon footprint and, therefore,
occupying space in a LEED certified building is a critical criteria for them.
