Today we’re in Upland California and we are visiting one of our repeat customers.
Sandra had us here in the past and we did some work in the family room, her movie theater
and parts of the living room. She was very satisfied with the work and today she is having
us work on the kids playroom.
Why don’t we go in and meet Sandra and see what we can create for her. Hello Sandra,
good to see you again. Thanks for having us back at your home.
I see you’ve got a safari look going in the kids playroom. I like what you’ve done
with it. I like the Giraffe. These were my toys when I was little. I’m a packrat and
I didn’t want to get rid of the stuff so I said I’m going to make a theme out of
it.
Now this particular window here, do we get a lot of sun coming through it? Yes. So that
would be one thing that we need to address with the window treatments. Yes. Because it’s
going to fade anything else we have on the floor here in the kids playroom.
And then we probably want to do something across the top like a cornice box so that
we can dress it up. This opening right here it probably wouldn’t be a bad idea to do
something on the sides. I would actually like to do a very, very simple window treatment
here. I would like to see some of this leopard look on the top as well as a cornice box.
Ok, I trust you. Your vision, my vision. Sounds like a plan.
So how do you like this one? I do like it. I think we should go ahead and go with this
one here. This is a very unique look for the window treatment. Have it come down right
about here. I think this is a good idea. I’m going to use this here for a cornice box.
My plan is to do this cornice box up here with the cheetah print. And then I’m going
to do a solid shade underneath it for the rest of the window treatment. And then over
the closet area we are going to go almost up to the ceiling and then just hang the hemp
fabric down, that’s the natural fabric that we have here. I’m looking forward to coming
back and putting this window treatment up for you. I think It’s going to be exciting!
Me too! I’ve procrastinated long enough, its time.
Thanks for having us do this. My pleasure, thanks for coming out.
