Now that you've made that film strip technique, I'm sure you'll be doing that again. It's
a lot of fun. But, let's get coloring our chick. What I want to do today, is show you
how to use the pure colored pencils. And, we're going to color our chick with yellow
and orange. And, what I'm going to do first is just color in his nose. And, I'm just going
to color with the orange. And, when I'm using a color I just kind of do all of them and
them switch to the next color. So, color his nose orange. And, then I'm going to color
his body as yellow. And, when you're coloring with these watercolor. Sorry, these aren't
the watercolor pencils. We have those also. These are just the colored pencils. I like
to color in two directions. It helps hide any lines that you may miss and it gives it
a darker color. These are very vivid colors. They're nice. The pencil is a high quality,
it colors very nice. You can use them for any, any detail work that you want to do.
I love having a pop of color on all my cards. And, I'm just going to outline him. And, again
just kind of going back and forth covering up all my lines. And, I'm coloring pretty
dark. You could color lighter if you like. But, I want my Easter chick here to be a really
really bright yellow. Bright yellow, like those Easter peeps. Alright. Now, my Easter
chick is all colored and I can start assembling my card.
