This is financial adviser, Patrick Munro, discussing creating a will. A will is an important
document, probably the most important document that anyone can ever put together, because
it really takes your life's work, and decides what will be done with it, at the time of
your passing. A will should be executed with an able attorney, and attorneys are widely
available, but make sure you choose the correct one, looking at his or hers background, and
training. The will should have declared beneficiaries. Those are individuals that will receive your
property, at the time of your death, and in many times, you should declare a contingent
beneficiary, in case your primary beneficiary passes away, before you do. Always keep the
will up to date, because as you acquire more and more property, you should make sure that
the will is kept up to date as such. This is Patrick Munro, discussing the benefits
of a will.
