The style of the album is much more modest compared to the previous one.
It's a very honest and organic album.
At the previous album, we were still looking to find our place within a certain musical style.
This album builds a stronger identification of Lambshade.
The songs were finished but when we met our producer, a lot of other ideas came to mind.
Together we worked on the songs which resulted in some changes in the tracks.
We choose to support our music with a light-show and visuals.
We used a beamer to project visuals to support the dynamics of our songs.
To create a certain atmosphere and trying to draw the audience into our music.
We are not signed to a manager or label. We do everything ourselves.
But in the end, we get stronger doing this.
After a clash or some tension, we always laugh about it.
It is great to see that we gathered a huge amount with crowd funding.
We produced this project with the help of the fans. Without them, it would have never happened.
It has been very positive to us to see how many people support the band
and helped us with small and big contributions. We are very thankful for this.
We created something new with the band,
and were very conscious in what we wanted.
Releasing the new album feels like a new cornerstone in the existence of the band.
It feels extra special to play for your homebase.
All family, friends and everyone that is important to us is at the venue to watch what you worked on.
There are expectations, and you have to make them. This makes it extra exciting.
It is nice to release a new album after 3 years.
But doing it in this way, with this album, in this venue and with the great amount of people, that is just awesome.
The satisfaction you get from such an evening makes up for everything.
If you go on stage and play the show all energy and frustration comes off.
This gives a great feeling.
When you get on stage and see the audience, 600 people, nothing else beats that feeling.
I hope that hearing our music on the radio and touring abroad will be our next steps.
I hope that we can play on some cool summer festivals and visit some great venues.
We would like to explore the country more, as well as Belgium and Germany.
The feeling that you are left with after the evening is incredible.
