>> Hello, in this video I will briefly cover contacts in Gmail.
To access your contacts, go up to the top left,
choose the mail drop-down menu, and select contacts.
Your contacts will be listed.
Google will automatically organize contacts using 3 categories: my contacts, most contacted,
and other contacts; and it's automatically done by Google.
To create a group of people in a new address -- new contact group, select those that you want,
go to the groups button, and create new group.
I'm going to call this my Thursday group.
And that's it, I now have a Thursday group in addition to my other groups as well.
When I click on that, I can see who they are.
And if I want to remove someone: select which one, one or more, and then I can choose
to remove them from the Thursday group.
If I want to add someone else to the group, deselect anyone that I have selected --
and I'll add Gary to the Thursday group.
And now Gary is in the Thursday group as well.
If I want to use a group that I've created in email: I'll go back to my email, compose,
and as I start typing, the auto complete will show me the people that are available.
And it was just Barbara and Catherine in the Thursday group.
I'm not going to finish composing this message.
If I click the X, it will save and close; and then I can pick
up where I was accessing the drafts.
That's contacts in a nutshell.
If you need additional information about contacts, just go to the gear menu,
down to help, and type in contacts: here's how to add contacts; importing contacts.
So again, to the gear menu, down to help,
and you can find all the additional help that you might need.
Thank you very much and have a good day.
