>>My name is Caitlin McClain.
My major is Biology and I’m from Rock Hill, South Carolina.
I love the small classes and the atmosphere.
It’s very personal and like the teachers can help you a lot more.
The UGA in Athens is great but there are such huge classes.
This is a lot more, I feel like you get more out of it
in the small classes.
>>Hey, I’m Steven Green.
I’m an Environmental Resource Science major here
at the university and this is my last semester here.
It being a lot of one-on-one, it’s really nice being in
the classrooms. The classes here are 6 to 8, 6 to 10 people.
They’re really small.
If you need help or have any questions,
the teacher has no problem answering them.
Even after class, they are more than willing to meet with you,
if you need to. It’s just really laid back.
>>I am Kassandra Cook. I am from McDonough, Georgia and
my major is Environmental Resource Science.
I had an environmental science teacher in high school
that really I bonded with.
He was an awesome teacher and he graduated from
University of Georgia. He had just spoken so highly of it.
When I graduated from high school, I didn’t want to have
to go all the way to Athens, so I went to a community college
for two years and got my associates degree.
Then I was driving down 75 one day and seen the
big billboard for UGA Griffin.
I called the next day and that was that.
>>My name is James Byrd.
My major is Biological Sciences and I’m from Fayetteville, Georgia.
Why you should attend UGA Griffin? I would say it’s a pretty good school.
The classes are fairly small.
It’s a pretty one-on-one experience with the teachers
so it makes it easy to learn.
I came from UGA Athens and I came to UGA Griffin
because it’s a little easier to stay focused here.
There is not as much distraction.
>> I’m Brian Vermeer. I’m from Thomaston, Georgia and
I’m an Environmental Resource Science major.
It’s close to home and I can get a great education
without having to go to Athens.
I’ve been a UGA fan too, that had a lot to do with it.
