Hello everyone. So I'm really excited for this video because...
this Sephora box, which is kinda like Christmas morning for most girls,
has been sitting in my bedroom for a number of days and I've just been staring
at it and I can't wait to dig into it.
and just enjoy some of the goodies that I bought.
But I wanted to make sure I filmed this Sephora haul first before I break into it.
So now I finally get to, so now lets unbox
the Sephora haul together.
(scissors cutting open Sephora box)
And... I'm loving what I see.
So it's been so long since I placed the order that I barely remember what I ordered.
So this is umm.
some of the products that I bought.
So I picked up the Hello Kitty Head of the Class
This was on sale. I think I bought it for, I want to say $17.
And I love the Hello Kitty
palette. I mean come on, who doesn't like Hello Kitty right.
So look how cute this is. It has this
velvet bow.
and then it has this back to school nerdy look, so you got your glasses
going on.
Then... comes the
first layer in this palette.
So the top layer looks like this. Let me take off the plastic film.
So here's the top layer. Gorgeous colors!
So it looks like
there's..
one green shimmer color
then there's this vanilla..
satin color.
And then it looks like two matte colors,
a rosy pink and matte brown color. So I like how it has a good mix of
satin, matte
and shimmer.
And the second layer
has
I'm taking off the film on this as well.
It has this,
kind of like
bright coral pink blush
and then it has this spray over layer of shimmer.
This is how it looks like.
So I can't wait to play with this palette.
Now, like I said, I own several Hello Kitty palettes I believe
and umm...
they are gorgeous and everything, but they do have
fallout which i'm not crazy about.
But this was on sale and I believe this was $17.
And I think it's still in the sale section so if you're interested in this
it's still there.
Ok next I bought the Lancome Genifique
Youth Activating Cream serum. Here's how the box looks like.
Now if you watch my videos you probably know I'm a huge fan of skincare.
I would say, asides from my love with makeup, I think skincare is right up there
with makeup.
Of course with makeup it can transform the look but the base of it all is
having great skin.
um...
I don't wear makeup all the time. I probably wear makeup about ninety percent
of the time
and on the weekends I just go with the no makeup face
and
i believe that it's never too early to start
the anti aging process
so I'm loving this cream serum especially now that it's
getting cooler. And since we are heading into the winter months soon, this is the serum
that I normally reach for. Now when you think of serums, you're probably thinking of
light and thin so it absorbs instantly.
But since this is a cream serum, its a little bit thicker
and provides me the moisture level that I need.
And I'm a big fan of Genifique. I think this must be my,
i want to see my fifth
or my sixth bottle. I lost count. But
I really do enjoy using this and when I don't have it is when I realize
how much i love it.
Then these two press
powder foundations are new to me.
So here we have the NARS press powder.
And then here we have the Laura Mercier foundation powder.
And let's break into the Laura Mercier first.
This is in number 4.
I love Laura Mercier, I have her mineral
pressed
foundation. I think I have it in
rich vanilla. I love it.
uh... it gives me
decent coverage, medium,
not full,
but in a way that my skin can still breathe and it looks like skin.
So here's how the compact typically looks like.
And this is in
number four.
And...
let me take off the lining.
Here's how it looks like.
And i believe that comes with
a sponge applicator.
And here's the sponge applicator.
But I love brushes. I never use a sponge. I just feel like
if I do use it
I won't be able to blend it that easily so.. Oh look! It also comes with...
a powder puff.
I didn't even see that.
Oh wow what a nice bonus.
So it has the Laura Mercier ribbon on it.
And then here's the powder puff side.
So the idea is
that you're supposed to slip 2 fingers through
and then you puff it on your face.
So that you might want to get like just a dusting, maybe just to control
the oil.
And if you want heavier coverage you might want to use the sponge inside.
So that's pretty neat.
so it gives you a powder puff
and the sponge
great then NARS, I
heard so many great things about the press powder foundation so I had to try it.
This is in
Beach 5008
And let's see how it looks like. Now
uh... here's a problem with NARS packaging and I'm sure I'm not the only YouTuber saying
is that their packaging attracts a lot of dust, and dirt and just makeup
residue
but at the same time I love
the feel of it. It just
has this, I don't know,
this kinda of like
a nice grip to it but it does attract a lot of dust, debris and residue
makeup.
And once again this is in Beach.
So here's...
here's how it works out.
and then it has a sponge applicator. (Actually as someone mentioned the sponge is just to protect the press powder)
which is
pretty flimsy in my book. I mean what is this?
What am I going to do with this? So I won't be using that.
And then here's the signature film.
And here's how it looks like.
And then we're going to head into the second layer in the box. And...
here's another surprise.
Alright so...
Oh yes!!!
I totally forgot about this. So (long sigh),
this is just a winner in my book. When I saw it I
fell in love!!!
This is the Laura Mercier
Artist Palette for Eyes.
And it retails for
forty eight dollars.
Now I was on the fence whether I should pick
this palette up
or should I pick up the Lorac Pro Palette.
But with the Lorac Pro Palette, even though its really slim and its
such a travel friendly
makeup product
I heard that it does have major fallout. Which I'm not too crazy about
like i said earlier with the Hello Kitty Palette.
But when I saw this,
I just fell in love. And can we talk by the packaging?
Look how Luxe it looks.
It almost looks like a wallet.
Like a slim clutch of some sort.
So it doesn't even look like an eye shadow palette.
We're gonna head into....
tada, look how gorgeous!
OMG, I can't wait to play with this.
So this is one of the reasons why I really want to film this video because
I know this was in the box and it was sitting in the bedroom and I was just staring at it.
So...
here we have... I think...
so the top layer is all shimmer.
And the bottom layer is all matte colors.
So here you have the best of both worlds so if you want some youthfulness
on your eyes
you can use the shimmer color just on the ball of your lid
and then you can um..
with the matte colors you can use it to maybe blend out certain colors or to define your
crease or as a highlight
whatever your liking
but I just love these. Its just a nice,
I don't want to say neutral palette because it does have some deep plums in there
it has some shimmery chocolates, and then some lilacy, lilac colors.
I think I'm going to have so much fun with this palette and if you would like to see
me review this palette, swatch some colors, maybe
do an eye look on it, just let me know or like this video so I get indication
whether not
there's an audience out there for this palette.
So this is once again the Laura Mercier,
what is this called?
This is the Laura Mercier
Artist Palette
for eyes and this sells for forty eight dollars. I also have my
holy grail
this is my HG (Holy Grail)
One-Step Gentle Exfoliating wash. This is from Clarins.
It smells wonderful, it does it's job.
um... I love this.
I always try to keep at least one backup in my closet.
This is just...
I don't know where to begin. Its just so easy to use. I have no negative reactions
from it. I get to wash my face
and exfoliate at the same time and it smells like oranges.
I can only say good things about it. So that's why I have 2 backups as of right now
including this one. Then...
the last thing that i bought is...
a liquid foundation. This is Lancome's
Teint Idole Ultra, this is 24 hour
and
i have it in the shade
320 Bisk Warm.
I believe "W" is for yellow undertones which is me.
So let me show you how it looks like.
It comes with a frosted glass bottle.
Of course it comes with a pump.
And the reason why I bought this is because I tried a sample of this
uh...
and I just love how this
feels like skin
it is you really light-weight but yet it gives you nice
even coverage and it blends out easily.
And it is not,
um... its not a satin finish.
Its not a shimmery finish. I wanna say
it has a matte finish.
but not like a deadly matte look.
Just
matte enough so that for oily prone skin
this might be the product you're searching for.
And its just very comfortable to wear, it doesn't transfer.
It doesn't even feel like
makeup. It just
covers up and evens out your skin tone. So if you would like me to do a review on this,
once again like this video or comment me down below and I'll do that.
Maybe I'll do a split face where I'll apply the foundation
on one side so you can see the power of this liquid foundation. I hope you
enjoyed shopping with me and I'll see you in another video. Bye.
