Before I do that though, I kinda wanted to rant a little bit. And I don't know that anyone
at Smart Girl would say this out loud, but I just wanted to say - where's our camera
that we're streaming from? OK. I wanted to say I'm a little bit disappointed that the
GOP hasn't sent any official representatives here.
More than a little disappointed. You know, whether it's true or not, the GOP has a perceived
woman problem. The GOP has a perceived minority problem. In this room are women and minorities
to come here and advance the message of freedom, the message that the Republicans claim they're
selling, and they did not even have the balls to send somebody here to talk to people about
it.
Rand Paul's in Kentucky. I know he's a busy guy but he could have come. These, these are
the boots, the boots on the ground. These are the soldiers. You want these people to
come work for you and spread your message? Listen. We know that men - you know, this
is a man's world; men navigate the ship but women are the engine and we're running out
of gas. Republicans need to come quick, you know, with that gas can and give us some help.
We're willing to go out there, we're willing to stump for you, we're willing to work for
you. But we need you to show us that you appreciate what we do, because it is not easy being a
mother, it is not easy being a wife, it is not easy working to support a family, and
on top of that, these type of women have taken their own time outside of what they do, to
push your cause?
It wouldn't have killed the GOP to send somebody here and send a message that "Yes, we want
to win, too, just like you." So shame on you, GOP.
Alright, rant over.
