Hi, my name is Logan and I'm one of the contestants for the UCLA BruinCard Redesign.
So let me bring up the BruinCard redesign website.
the BruinCard redesign wants to implement
new features such as safety information and campus resources
on the BruinCard. The Office of Presidents
is allowing us to... compete.
I want to show you mine design.
So this is one of my
three designs, which is slight variance between my three designs.
This is the magnetic strip and this is how the front looks like.
This is a picture taken from the bottom of Wilson
Plaza and we can see the tower of
Royce Hall and the octagonal dome
of Powell Library and a view of Janss Steps.
I used this picture because
the sky showing some sense of optimism.
This picture is by Kyle Alexandar
and UCLA has the rights for the picture
pictures till 2017.
Here we can see that I
using Pantone 1235C
so this is a gold-ish color
and I'm using Verdana font.
And I'm using Verdana Font as the student's name and this is the student ID.
And this is the category - students under (the ID).
A simple
photo on the left.
And the BruinCard logo is on the top left.
and on the bottom right we have the
UCLA logo. For the back of the card, I have made
it like this. I have information from
UCLA Emergency Information, *** Treatment Center,
Council & Psychology, campus escort services,
evening van and some other emergency on the bottom.
I have more space on the right where I can add more phone numbers.
I choose UCLA Blue, Panton UCLA Blue, to bring
slight attention these categories. It helps differentiates
between each set of information. I choose to use
the gold on the letters here
to bring more attention towards the the phone numbers. And I'm going to show you
my slight variance. I have a magnetic strip with NFC,
and NFC.
