Welcome to Team Wild TV. Tonight we take a look at the best bits of Carnivore, our show
that takes game from the field to the fork and shows you what to do every step of the
way.
The first video on this years list of highlights is our very own master butcher Steve "Wildy"Wild's
in depth butchery of a roe deer. Knowing his craft inside and out Mr Wild goes through
the steps you would need to take if you were to process your own game. As Steve debones
the shoulder joint on this beautiful buck he moves carefully around each of the areas
that need a little more attention when removing bones.
Okay so there we have it. That's one shoulder been *** out.
Next on the list is Texan pig sticking big deal Krystal White as she joins her father
on a quail hunt in Texas. Now, Krystal is frightening enough unarmed, but when sent
out into the wild with a shotgun theres fear in the eyes of every bird for miles around.
And the men too come to think of it. Krystal and her father make shot, after shot, after
shot and there's birds dropping from the sky all over the place. The idea was to hunt some
birds and cook them up into a beautiful meal for the table, but going by the amount of
birds on the ground come the end of it I think she could've fed a football stadium full of people.
Had fun with my dad. First time hunting with my dad with quail and our guide Windle, he
is the best. Primo, I mean he put us on the birds and as you can tell it was extremely successful.
Next on this years Carnivore highlights list is another Texan showing us how its done down
south. Blackmon Ranch guide and feral hog expert, Scott Maddox gave us a great masterclass
on how to field dress your porky problem maker. Scott's delivery was both knowledgeable and
entertaining as he performed the task flawlessly.
You know what these are, don't you? Mountain oysters.
Top of the highlights list for Carnivore in 2013 goes to a very special hunt and the most
epic animal on the channel, a Canadian moose. All the way back in January we showed you
guys our epic hunt for moose meat in Newfoundland with our good friend and part man part moose,
Donnie Benoite. After trekking for days and days Ian managed to spot a beautiful moose
from a hill top. He got it in his sights and made not one, not two, but three good shots
on a lovely young bull moose at 417 yards. An awesome hunt amongst epic scenery and with
a very epic long range shot to harvest the perfect animal and an unbelievable amount
of meat for the table.
So this is exactly what we're looking for. Young, sweet, tender.
