Update on new Hawx Dog & Gun features
I thought I'd just give you an update of some of the new features and innovations
that continue to come out on this new product
from Hawx Outdoors - The Dog & Gun System.
A couple of the small things
that's going to be coming due to military demand and police force demand
is that the collar is now going to be offered in black as well,
a conventional black plastic
as well as the transmitter will be offered in black
and we will have a black silicone cover
for those users that would prefer black rather than camo and orange.
As we've discussed before there's lots of new mounting options; there's the Surface Mount
there's a Molle Vest Mount for police forces
there is a Duck Call Mount
there is a Watch Mount
and a Finger Mount (3-in-1 Multi Mount).
Okay so there's...
these mounts are coming out, you should
look on our website
to see what's happening.
Another new feature which users like
was Rising Stim (Rising Stimulation).
Basically what that allows you to do is set the transmitter
on any level that you want, and every three quarters of a second it will jump
to the next level, so if it was on a three
then it would jump in three quarters of a second automatically to a four,
five, six and stay there until it cuts out at eight seconds.
Now this is primarily
used in police force work and military,
however I think there's some great applications for gun dog guys as well.
In a gun dog situation
you could have your
Dog & Gun button
set at the dogs conditioning level which we'll say is a three
and in this case if it was a pointer
and your pointer broke on a bird or pushed him out
I would use a nick,
it's on continuous but I would
push the button and release it
and go "whoa"
if the dog continued to chase
which it may be a rabbit or a deer or something like that, then I would give
him another nick and hold it down, at that
point it would go from level three, four,
five, six,
and basically stop
the chase and perhaps save your dogs life.
So this application of Rising Stim may be a great thing for the hunter
who's dog may be involved in a high
desire activity. Anyhow, its called Rising Stim
you can see more on our website.
Just a few new things
from Hawx Outdoors.
