Letters of recommendation should come from somebody who knows you very well.
It can be a faculty member or it can be a past supervisor.
But they need to address in detail...
as to the qualities that they feel would make you a strong candidate for law school.
A common mistake is that applicants will submit letters...
from prominent attorneys or alumni, politicians...
who will write a letter of recommendation that is weak.
We would much rather, as law schools, see a letter with details...
that may come from somebody who knows you very well.
