the line spacing; the default line spacing.
for this you want to be also in Home. So click Home
on the ribbon and then you are going to clcik
in the paragraph section. The small arrow in the lower right hand corner
brings up the paragraph dialog box
and this is where you can't set your line spacing.
You want to make sure indentation for right
and left are at zero and Special should say
None. Spacing Before and After should both be
at zero points, and you can change them using the
up and down arrows. Line spacing should be it Single.
You can change that by clicking on the down arrow and selecting Single.
And then At should be blank.
There should be nothing there. Make certain that
there's no check mark in Don't add space between paragraphs of
the same style. Then click
Set as Default. You'll get a dialog box that will ask you if you want to set
this for the Normal Template. You're going to select
all documents based on Normal template and click
Okay. This will ensure that your default line spacing
on all new documents will be single
with no spacing before or after paragraphs
which is the accepted business format.
