Defense is actually the key to attacks. Being able to defend urself allows you
to attack at will and not fear retaliation. In fact I welcome it because u
can gain as much if not more glory in defense as
u can attack. I keep at least 75% of my
food production in defenders at my main. I use my 2 food outpost to store 100% defense for quick transfer to main or other. My 6
food outpost has most of my offense but still about 60% defense. My new 8 food is still under construction but it will be a
monster housing enough offense to attack anyone at max and still hold over 1000
defenders. Having all 8 food outposts would be nice but you still have to pay attention to the distance from
your main. It does no good to have a ton of defense if u can't get them to ur main quickly. These outposts are rarely attacked because of
how many troops they can hold unless it's an attack to defer you from moving
troops or if its an under developed outpost
Tools are fun. Choosing the rite tools is
always a tough task.
You would think that just putting the best of everything is the way to go and that's true if u have deep pockets but most of
us don't want to waist rubies so saving the armorer tools for when u really need them is key
A tar pit has a 40% wall bonus and a mach has 50% so not a huge difference but still better
The key using the tools that help your troops
It does no good to have arrow slits up if ur using all mele troops to defend against sword and mace
Stay as balanced as the attack. If ur using more ranged use extra bulwark or arrow slits, if ur using more mele use mor
tar. Always use the best gate anf moat u can afford as these are standard for both ranged and
mele.
