Get the most out of your battery by using some great power saving techniques!

To begin, press Apps from any home screen.
Then find and select Settings.
At the bottom of the list, touch About device.
Then select Battery use.
This page gives you insight to what has been using most of your battery.
Touch Screen.
From here you can adjust your screen settings and read helpful battery saving techniques related to this category.
As you can see, it recommends reducing the screen brightness and timeout.
To adjust these settings, touch Screen settings.
Then select Brightness or Timeout, and decrease the settings for each.
Next touch Accounts and sync on the Settings panel.
Another useful way to save battery life is to unselect Background data and/or Auto-sync.
Touch OK after reading the prompt.
This can be a major contributor to battery life conservation.
But take note that you will now need to manually sync certain programs and applications.
There is also the Power Savings Mode option.
Touch Power saving mode on the left side of the Settings panel.
Then turn on Custom power saving by touching the empty check box.
To customize these settings, touch Custom power saving settings.
To adjust when Power Saving Mode will automatically turn on, touch Power saving mode on.
Then select the battery power percentage that you would like it to turn on at.
Next you have the option to allow Power Savings Mode to automatically turn off services like Wi-Fi and Bluetooth
that would use battery even when not in use.
To choose any of these automatic settings, simply touch the setting you would like to turn on.
