Hello to all Plicopa's friends
3 weeks ago we started the fundraising campaign for our project
and many people asked us and they are wondering how things are going
The answer is... very good!
It's true we delayed comparing to our goal at Indiegogo
and for Plicopá is crucial to achieve it.
But the compliments and interest by everybody who met Plicopá
in person, on video, on the streets or on social media
continues to give us very positive feeling.
They are all responding with enthusiasm.
For this reason we decided to make this video:
it's a simple way to say thank you right now "muito Obrigado"
to everybody who gave their own contribution,
but also to those who have shared and supported Plicopá.
There were many visits to our websites:
on Indiegogo we've received more than 5.000 views,
on Youtube more than 2.500 persons have seen our videos.
So thank you all!
We'll take a few minutes to tell you about our adventure
The presentation at The Hub Milan was very intense,
and despite some technical problems,
we presented Plicopá to the nearly 100 people present.
It was a very exciting debut
and everybody was interested in Plicopá
Our GUERRILLA MARKETING - well,
Plicopá was launched during Milan Design Week, then
we walked around the crowded streets of Milan with a giant Plicopá, 1.5 m high,
to demonstrate what it is and how Plicopá works
Ok, I'll show you right now in detail how it works:
it's a case...
that turns into a practical support
You can put the iPad in 2 angles & 2 positions,
then Plicopá becomes once again very thin corrugated cardboard case.
We were invited to several events to present Plicopá to many other people
(Gustavo speaking "it's very simple"
"and allows you to put the iPad in all directions"
"even this which you never have seen before")
(audience: I'll buy it right now! applauses)
For example, we went at Startuppami and TAVOLI GIOVANI EXPO 2015
where Plicopá has aroused a great interest
from entrepreneurs and companies
By the way, We have created special offers for companies
The only "dark spot" till now is the delay in communication.
As a matter of fact we should have started to communicate Plicopá
few weeks before the official presentation
However, the best part of it was when we launched our project on the web,
we received "good press" from the media world, in a careful and positive way
Several websites have written about us:
Wired in Italy, Macmagazine in Brazil, and many other blogs:
in Japan, Brazil, America, Italy, the Netherlands...
and there are many others who are not published yet.
Moreover, we were interviewed by Milan Rock'n Roll Radio.
So, Plicopá's friends help supporting us as you have done so far
Stay tuned! We'll keep you updated, because the adventure has just begun
