A lot of people get into leadership positions, as a supervisor, and aren't comfortable leading
change. And my estimate of that is you don't necessarily have to be "the" agent of change.
You can use the people who work for you to become the agents of change. One way to do
that is engage them, and their ideas, in the kind of direction and change that you want.
Using their brain power, having them come up with solutions, and not relying solely
on yourself, but encouraging and including all these people in the potential solutions.
In effect, they become the agents of change, and it becomes their ideas - not your ideas
pushed down on them - but their ideas shoved up.
