Reebok's latest training app has done the unthinkable by harnessing the power of peer
pressure. When you sign up to the app it asks you for your Facebook login, twitter details
and a friend's email. Crucially, it also asks you for a secret. Once you've entered the
days you intend to run, you'll get reminders from the app. When you run, you'll get an
autopost about time and distance on Facebook and twitter. If you cancel one, you get a
big C for cancelled, or crap, on your calendar. It also reminds you how many cancellations
are allowed before your secret is unleashed to the world via Facebook and twitter. Now,
a sneaky person would protect their secret via lying to the app, but you didn't hear
it from me. That way no one will ever find out
that I occasionally do the washing up in a frog Kigu suit.
