>> Welcome to Society Games and be friendly.
>> The Society Games are one of the most popular events at the law school.
>> One, two, three.
Get them, get them, get them!
>> Society games are part of a celebration, it's a field day.
We generate a little friendly rivalry among the societies, then go all out there to win the society cup.
We definitely take it seriously but everyone in law school most people are real type A and competitive and we sort of take our you know stress from school and put it into this.
>> The UT Law School is divided up into eight societies.
Think homeroom for grad school.
Each year these groups get together to raise money for charity and wage a spirited competition called the Society Games.
>> So we have several different events.
First, we have moving water and you have to you know dip the water in a big bucket and move it down a line of about ten people
and whoever fills up you know their end bucket first wins.
We have a game that's called farkle which is rock, paper, scissors, tag.
We have a group jump rope, which is always interesting.
We have group Pictionary and then we have a tug of war and that gets kind of crazy.
