This is trick #25 of the 1A Yoyo Trick Ladder, it is called Black Hops, and it looks like
this.
Again, you can learn this trick in our Black Hops video, which will teach all the ins and
outs and will give you a couple of tips about how to complete the trick correctly. I will
just tell you a few things that pertain to the trick ladder. The first thing is, when
you are working on this trick you may be tempted to be practicing with the trick over your
thumbs, because that is going to make a lot of the hops a lot easier. You cannot do that
in the trick ladder. You need to do your initial Triple or Nothing just over your fingers,
just like this.
Also, when you are doing all your different hops, you must always be landing on the outside
string. If you land on multiple strings, or not on the outside string when you do the
trick, then that would be considered a miss. When you get to the end, of course, you drop
all the string off this first finger and you do two rolls out. Make sure you get back into
your Trapeze before you dismount and bring the yoyo back to your hand.
That is Black Hops.
