What is Facebook Graph Search and How do I Use Facebook Graph Search
Facebook has recently launched its new Graph Search, a tool which allows users to find
information within their network of friends all in real time. It allows one to search
people, photos, places and interests while including web search results powered by Bing.
So how does one actually use Graph Search for Business?
The first step you will want to take is signing up for Graph Search. You can do this by going
to facebook.com/about/graphsearch. Then you want to scroll down to the very bottom
of the page and click on the try graph search button.
After several days you will receive a Facebook notification that the Graph Search has been
implemented into your profile. It will appear as a navigation bar at the
top of your home page, including the graph search on the left and your home, friend request
and notification buttons on the right. At this point, you can take advantage of the
search function. Searches can be broad to more specific, including content you or your
friends have contributed or content shared publicly. For example, you can search restaurants
nearby or people who are interested in internet marketing.
On the right hand side of the results screen, Facebook allows you to further refine these
search results, based on multiple search criteria. Facebook Graph Search Notes and People Social
