Hey everybody, it's your boy Todrick, reporting to you live
from Atlanta, Georgia.
Listen, if you are like me-- a true, loyal, devoted fan of
Dance Moms--
you were no doubt waiting on the edge of your seat for
tonight's premiere of Dance Moms, Season Two.
I was a little bit nervous.
Part of me was kind of like, is Abby Lee going to have a
change of heart?
Is she going to come back as this pure,
sweet, innocent lady?
The answer is no.
Abby Lee came back acting just as crazy as
she was last season.
Let's just get down to it.
Holly is missing.
[CHEERS]
You know, people have jobs.
It's 2012.
People are trying to make a living.
And Abby Lee tried to read Nia in front of
all the other kids.
Poor Nia is eight years old, just trying to figure out her
times tables.
And Abby is yelling at her because her
mom's not at rehearsal.
I just felt so bad for Nia because the poor thing just
didn't know what to say.
(CHILD'S VOICE) What?
What are you saying to me?
Another part of me was wondering, are they going to
mix it up this year and add somebody else?
Somebody needs to come in and give Maddie
a run for her money.
Lo and behold, she announces that there's going to be an
audition for a new member of Dance Moms.
(SINGING) Alleluia!
She had an audition with tons of her returning students, and
she chose a girl named Kendall.
She's eight years old.
I mean, she aight.
She ain't the bomb dot com or nothing, but I
guess she'll do.
In the end, Kendall joins the group.
They go to their first competition.
Maddie, of course, brings home the gold and wins first place.
[CHEERS]
Nia comes in and surprisingly swipes out the
fourth place position.
The group won the first competition of the year, so it
was awesome.
A good way to kick off the season.
I can't wait to see how Kendall works into the mix.
And hopefully you guys will be checking out
Dance Moms next week.
Thank you so much for tuning in, and you're watching
(SINGING) FYI.
Peace.
