Hello. My name is Kat Sinclair. I am a professional face painter.
I've been painting for 8 years. I'm going to show some tips, tricks and techniques for
doing your own face painting at home. I'm going to show you how to do a clown face paint.
I've loaded my sponge in white and the first thing to do is to cover the whole face with
the white paint. You want to make sure it's not too wet and not too dry, so you don't
get streaky patches. So now I'm going to use quite a large brush and we're going to do
some details.
First, I'm going to do some shapes around the eyes. I hope you've kept hold of your
sponge with the white paint because we're going to use that to blend the colour and
I'll show you how to do that now. So first of all, draw a line with the brush above the
eye like that and then use your sponge to gently drag the colour away from that line.
You can do the same on the other side, draw a line with the brush, then blend away with
the sponge. And then you can clean your brush when it cools as in the clown, we're going
to need to do the red nose. Mix up some red paint and do a nice big round red nose.
And there you would want to do some nice smiley red lips. Well, it's up to you to use your
imagination as to what the clown's going to look like. You can do some rosy cheeks
and then you might want to do some details with black like some eyebrows up here.
Clowns often have quite a funny expressions so one eyebrow might be a little bit different
to the other. That is how to do a clown facepaint. .
