Hi Guys this is Joel with Guitars United Thanks for checking out our Youtube channel Just
wanted to show you another really cool guitar this is another rare one we never really
see alot of gold top studios this is a 2012 Gibson Studio Goldtop 50's tribute Modeland
its just really cool its a satin finish mahogany body with a mahogany neck and its
got the traditional old school like Kluson looking keys on it and its got a bone nut
on it its really cool might even be some kind of a I don't know it looks like bone but
it could be some kind of a synthetic material they're making them so so fancy today and
so so good for the synthetic materials today it could be corian it could be it could
be a variety of different materials you know you could obviously look them up online
we did n't check out 1005 of the specs on it before we do this we so many guitars that
its hard to keep up them so but anyways it does have the 498T and the 490R pickups
built in to it is which you know like alot of standards come with that so its kind of
a cool guitar it's chambers so its a bit little lighter you know it does have the traditional
stop end tailpiece and ABR-01 what they call a tun-o-matic its got a rosewood fingerboard
on it its a sweet guitar I think were selling it for $725 uh with a gigbag its what the
studios come with is a gigbag Ithink this guitar brand new is $1100 buck maybe on a
good day $1000 bucks something like that so this thing is mint its just really cool how
often do you see a goldtop studio especially is a satin finish I really like it its clean
made in America quality guitar quality guitar Gibsons they got a ton of models out there
so its hard to keep up with them but overall this is a beast you know we got this thing
setup just right this this is a monster we got 10's on this as well as a shop we do like
11's but um alot people can't play 11's um so our personal guitar we put 11's on em
when it comes to Lp's but for the shop we do put 11's or 10's on them and we can
customize it to any gauge that anybody wants we get you know anywhere between yep yep
.007 we get 7's all the way up to 12's or 13's you know so it really depends what people
are playing um alot of people have arthritis and its just different you know so we try
to customize it to the player but in general we put on whats factory which is generally
a 10 10 guage so enough of that and anyways very light weight cool guitar rock
out you know its its solid you know its just a machine we think and uh you know standard
configuration 3 way you know standard there volume volume tone tone I mean pretty standard
LP and as a used guitar man I love used guitars especially once you have them setup
properly you know $725 with a gigbag is what were selling it for and its ready to rock
its a stage machine ya know if somebody knocks this over and breaks the neck ahhh it would
suck but its not going to be your you know your standard you know buy a standard today
this is March, 2014 I think standard around $2700 bucks its uh you know plus tax tag and
title you know its not its not a joke but you know $725 bucks and quality USA made
guitar so highly recommend it I really like it alot play well sounds good good straight
neck
