I'm Mark MacDonald here. MonaVie's Nutrition and Fitness Expert.
And I'm here in Anaheim, California, rocking the RVLution.
We're at the Acceler8 Convention.
And I'm here with Dave Maley.
And Dave is unique. Because when most people start a program,
A weight loss program where people say,
it's all about dieting. Well the RVLution is ditching the dieting.
It works for everyone. Dave didn't want to lose any weight.
Dave actually wanted to gain weight. Dave, how much weight
have you gained on the program? Dave Maley: Well, since I really dug in
and got serious about everything that you taught us,
in about 16 weeks I put on 12 pounds.
Mark: Awesome. Did you
always have a hard time gaining weight in the past?
Dave: I know a lot of people don't like to hear us little ecto-types.
Mark: We call it like the
road bike, they can race up the hill. They have a fast metabolism.
Dave: The thing that impresses me
so much about your program is that it works both ways.
Mark: Isn't that the key? So someone can lose
weight or someone can gain weight.
Dave: I run pretty low at about 9.5%
body fat, and I maintain that throughout the weight gain.
Mark: So tell me what the education of living the program
has done for you? Do you feel or think like
This is something you can do the rest of your life?
Dave: Something I've noticed big time,
is I can tell now throughout the day,
when my blood sugar is starting to crash.
I can feel it and I run to
good healthy food. And I love the shakes.
I follow your advice too.
That old addage of that you can't eat anything past 7PM
at night, and no that's not true. An hour before I go to bed,
I'll have sometimes my third shake.
Mark: You body is a refuels as it goes machine,
and it's feeding the engine. So you gain weight,
you have the tools now. You got your body confidence,
You've taken it to another level. What's the one
thing that you can share to another ecto-morph or hard gainer
like you? What's the one piece of information you can share
with them that will help them start implementing the program?
Dave: I noticed I had the most success
in packing on a little extra muscle at age 56,
because once you
find how you eat, and when you eat
and what you eat. It works.
This little system that pretty much runs our lives,
Once you get things
lining up and follow the instructions,
It's real easy to do with the program you've designed.
I'm proof that it works both ways.
