What are you going to make? Kothimeera Steamed Vada (Coriander Vada)
Ingredients required to make Kothimeera Steamed Vada
Coriander, Gram Flour, Oats, Mint, Cashews, Cumin, Green Chillies, Salt, Chilli Powder, Oil
Take a pan and heat it
Roast 2 tsp of oats
Take 1/2 cup of gram flour
Add a cup of chopped coriander leaves
Add some mint leaves
Add some crushed cashews, some cumin and a little red chilli powder
Add some finely chopped green chillies
Add salt as required
Mix well
Add the roasted oats, a little water
Take a pan and heat some water
Make a dough like mixture and make cylindrical rolls
Grease a bowl with some oil
Place the cylindrical dough rolls in the bowl. And place the bowl in the hot water to steam the rolls for 3 mins
Keep the steamed rolls aside
Take a frying pan and heat enough oil for deep frying
Cut the rolls into smaller pieces, like so
Wet the pieces a little and press them into small patties
Press a cashew nut in the middle of the patty
Deep fry the patties
Take the Kothimeera Steamed Vada into a serving plate
