Six years, it has been six long years since the old continent dove into darkness; plague,
anarchy, exterminations, so many different reasons took this civilization down into its
deep and unstoppable fall. It took five centuries to raise our nation, and only six grim and
dark years to leave it in blood and agony. Just like me, most would have preferred staying,
but all resigned, seeing their families painfully dying. There is no hope where I come from;
and just like a sign from some divine entity, the sailors discovered,
four years ago, the land of Euckar. The latest technological and astronomical
progress allowed our people to cross the great ocean separating us from this Promised Land.
We used to ignore Euckar, and now we praise it, its fertile and wild plains, its subsoil
full of resources, and its wide and breathtaking woodlands. This continent represents the hope
and future of an entire civilization, or rather, for those who survived.
In just a few days we shall arrive, the seagulls will welcome us all on the shiny docks in
the city-state of Valion, opening up a new chapter for the settlers.
Soon, new cities shall be created, nations shall be built, wars shall occur, undeniably,
because this is how it will always happen, it is a fact of life.
