Hello everybody, today I’m in holiday mood
we already decorated our Christmas tree
As you can see we also have a Christmas card
our friend Eleftheria sent it to us
Eleftheria we love you!!
In today’s video I’m gonna show you a holiday makeup
From now till New Year’s Eve I’ll post 2 videos every week
because I want to show you as much holiday looks as I can.
I was thinking about doing videos with makeup, hair, nails and outfit all in one
Let me know in the comments if you want to see a makeup video or a video that includes them all.
In the previous video I started using the cream from L’oreal
I’m very satisfied with this cream.
My skin is soft
and it’s not oily anymore.
In the description you can find the link from the review post
if you want to read my opinion
and let’s begin with the makeup
Today I’m gonna use the black sponge from the limited set that I bought
and in the end I’m gonna tell you
if I can see any difference between the black and the pink, which one I prefer...
Today I’ll do smokey eyes
thus I won’t put concealer yet
so that if I get eyeshadow on my cheek I can remove it and apply the concealer later.
I start with naked lunch from Mac
Then I use Satin taupe, again from Mac
Black eyeshadow from radiant for the outer corner of the eye.
And I’m gonna do the blending with the “brun”
(I don’t know how to pronounce it correctly).
from MAC, to do the blending.
Remember, the best you do the blending
the better the result will be.
With a clean brush and naked lunch,
I’ll do the blending between the light and the dark colour.
I’m so happy when bloggers that I know personally
take the next step and launch their own products.
I’m talking about Heart brushes.
They are from Mary
a.k.a Madeinheart.gr
In the description you can find the review post
as well as the site you can buy them whether you are in Greece or abroad.
I don’t know if you can buy them abroad yet, it will open in few months
but take a look at the site.
And there is no holiday makeup without a little bit more shine.
I bought
this eyeshadow from kiko
it’s from the water line, number 200.
I don’t know what happened
the previous week but it was sold out!
Fortunately
I bought it yesterday
because I couldn’t do a festive makeup without it.
I will add a little more shine by putting eyeshadow on the inner corner.
Black eye pencil on the water line and the upper water line
in order to make the result more prominent.
Black eyeshadow under the eye.
As close as possible to the eyelashes.
Eyeliner.
Mascara.
Clean the area under the eyes.
With the sponge, I will put on make up once again.
Concealer.
Eyebrows.
And as I told you before
it’s not festive makeup without shine
so I’ll use the strobe cream from Mac
on my cheeks,
forehead,
nose
and chin.
The strobing is the new trend
and it’s here to replace the contouring.
In essence,
you highlight the spots on the face in which the face is naturally illuminated
if a light falls on it.
That means that you highlight your cheeks,
forehead,
nose
and chin.
For those who have a bump on the nose
like me
don’t put a highlight on it
because it will bring it forward even more.
The best option is to put the highlight before
and after it
in order to give the illusion that there is no bump.
I’ll add a little more shine on my cheekbones
with the eyeshadow from kiko.
Then blush.
I use number 160 in the shade peach from L’oreal.
It’s this one.
I’ll apply powder in the spots that I don’t want to shine too much.
Lipstick.
I used a lip pencil in natural shades.
It’s from the brand Seventeen, number 23,
the shade berry.
I’ll do a mix of lipsticks,
I’ll mix
from seventeen the matte lipstick, number 2
and from mac, captive.
I’ll keep my lips natural
because I did smokey eyes.
I use these to mix my lipsticks.
And it’s not a festive look without false eyelashes.
If you are going to do something exaggerated do it right!
I forgot to tell you that before I used the eyelashes
I put them on my eyes to see if they were too big
so I can cut them.
I did this so that they don't protrude.
And as I promised I’m gonna tell you my opinion about the beauty blender sponges.
I don’t find any difference between the pink and the black one.
Except from the fact that the pink one is thinner on the top.
They both apply the product equally well and they are both equally soft
This was the makeup!
I hope you liked it.
