So once you've mastered going over a small drop and you've mastered working your way
up to bigger drops something you're going to realize is that at one point the drop will
get so big that if you have your pedals in the wrong position, like if you have your
pedals up and down instead of parallel to the ground it doesn't matter how well you
drop it or how well you land it it's impossible to stay on top of the unicycle because you
have no control when your pedals are in the up and down position. So one way that you
can deal with that is you can ride up to it as if it's obstacle and you can put your wheel
parallel to it and hop so you get your balance and then hop down the drop. So that is an
alternative to riding straight off the drop if you think it's too big because if you ride
off of it your pedals might be in the wrong position and you won't be able to make it.
So let me show you how to do that. So basically what I did is I rode up to it, I hopped until
I got my balance and I allowed my body to fall the direction that I wanted to hop but
not too much once again because remember you're hopping down and so you don't need to lean
as much because gravity is working towards you and that's how you hop down a big drop.
