now President Obama the government general has been losing the confidence
so the american people on the spying if you show your polls
where they're beginning to say hey wait a minute now
we don't think in what's known as a trader we think he's a whistleblower and
we think the government's keeping secrets from us on how much they're
spying on us
and I guess there a couple love new stories out today about it
out the Wall Street Journal of all places broke a story
saying that you know other governments as well you know everyone thought we
might
inadvertently collect some Americans emails but mainly were trying trying to
collect the emails or foreigners
sometimes will slip up well it turns out they have slipped up
slipped up so much that they've collected the
Internet information I'll seventy-five percent
the american people hoops then we actually get
75 was other peoples information little slip-up
as a wall street journal and also %uh the government
just admitted today right before we went on air that yeah back in 2011 we
admitted to the courts
that we didn't have a couple hundred errors a couple thousand errors
when we accidentally collected information on american citizens
back then we admitted that over a three-year span
we collected 56,000 Americans
information and looked at gannett
as I told you they collect for more than that but these the cases
when actuated Americans info and they confess they admit
yes we look at your private data when we should know not a couple cases
56,000 cases hoops
that's when the court said you gotta find ways have limiting that collection
and spying on Americans and they haven't so far
so that leaves us to our polls an how Americans feel about this
but most importantly how young americans feel about because remember
President Obama appealed to the youth vote and said I'm gonna bring
change interest trust me is not politics as usual
with no okay so let's look at a with the
case over at your store and ask people under the age of 29
USA Today Pew Research dead about how do you think there should be a criminal
case against Edwards sought
now in television all you hear is yes yes yes yes yes
well among Americans under 29 they say no
by fifty to 44 percent margin they said they should be no criminal case
he is a whistleblower not forget trader
no criminal case whatsoever okay now how about exposing the surveillance program
was a public good and this dichotomy is really interesting
for people who are 18- to 29-year-olds
sixty percent say yes was a public good that's a big solid number those
over the ages 65 senior citizens only 36 per se
percent say it's a public good in other words fact a great art
dunno whereas the young there's like no is not
it was a he did something that was positive so
week which party was present Obama with again
was he with the republican party wants to protect the the rich the powerful
protect their conservative traditional
base or was he the guy who ran on change and hope
and told all those young voters so don't worry I'm a change the system
turns out he didn't change anything kept the bush-cheney system and viciously
goes after
anyone who dares tell you about the bush-cheney system
that he has maintained you think everybody stupid
yes some people still watch TV when they watch TV they got a mayday call me on
the crater
I yes well I Got News for people under twenty nine years old they don't watch
TV
they get there news from the internet sad day for you so they actually find
out the truth
and they don't like what you're doing so how's that affected his popularity in
that
category well it's a 14-point swing
in Obama's approval to disapproval rating among voters
aids 18 to 29 and that's from a different Paul economist
you go poll i've seen polls that have even a wider margin for how much she's
lost
among the young but that youth voters
slip sliding away and I the best score ever was this young girl that I ran into
who had voted for the first time in 2008 you vote if President Obama
I start an airport we talked for a little while to worsen next to one
another
an *** or she's gonna vote for Obama in 2012 so obviously this was
a little while back and she said no hole she said after Obama
what is there left to hope
and god that's so true unfortunately
what do young people have to get excited about this the guy who said he's gonna
change everything any kept everything the same
and punishes anyone who dares change that system what is there left to hope
for
alright Cal jolson who's a Southern Methodist University professor says
as a possible explanation for young people and why they don't wanna be spied
on
and mind you I think this is ridiculous and I'll explain why
quote it's our parents who were shocked to the core by 9/11
well I think younger voters probably a factor did 911 is a historical event
but are more concerned by today's NSA pervasive presence
kat young people calling nonsense all the time it would be so nice s was
all know younger people they don't mind being spied on at all because they have
facebook they have Instagram they're all
revealing that information the government vault early anyway all the
time so they don't mind it
except in the you get pole so so that say the exact opposite that's not true
they mind a lot about the mind more than any other category for americans
okay well that's because they didn't see nine alone with their own eyes if they
had
their eyes will pop out there suckin that we said yes please Republic us to
ship
but I got news for you I saw 911 I'm not thirteen-years-old
a what are my best friends was in the third highest building they're scared
out of his mind Dave Cole who helped found the show
was in New York was covered with ash
my parents live in the area you think we were scared when we couldn't reach them
and we couldn't reach her friends
yes I saw 911 but right after 9/11 I don't see also taught
panicked al Qaeda's right we should stop being a free country
we should rip up on Burn our Constitution a lead the government
have absolute power let them spying on us and abuse are civil rights
some of us didn't think that cassava bus work hours
I guess is so well you were already out with the whole country soon as we
thought I'd 11
we realize democracy and liberty was a mistake
and these young kids is what purse that was there understand it didn't see the
fear that we had in our eyes
when we saw 911 they still believe in the country
no no don't assume that everybody's as scared as you are
know they the reason that the younger voters
or going in this direction is because they're actually more
educated they actually have access to far greater information
because their online and they're not getting fed the non-stop propaganda
up the government to the mainstream press the government is always right by
your head
don't the people give you information about what your government's up to their
all traders and treasonous *** like Bradley Manning in
Edward stone well guess what President Obama and the United States government
and the establishment media up we don't believe you
