If you are working from a home office and you want to be productive, one thing that
is helpful is to kind of get in tune with your self and who you are and align yourself
with natural motivators and also align yourself with peak times during the day. What I mean
by that is, I did talk about it earlier how it is helpful for a lot of people to kind
of structure their time and know when they're going to do what they're going to do. But
it is also helpful to know yourself and to know what hours of the day you work best and
that is really different for everyone. I know people who like myself do really great if
they get up at 5 or 6 in the morning and just get to work. A lot of times I can start early
and be done with my work for the day by 1 o'clock and I like that. I enjoy that. I am
very much a morning person so that works well for me. On the other hand I know people who
are not necessarily a morning person and they might sleep in until 12 in the afternoon and
other people say well that's lazy. Well you know what, that's what works for them. They'll
get up and they might work until midnight and they do better working in the evening
so whatever your schedule is, don't worry about it. It doesn't have to be the same as
anyone else's as long as you have that flexibility of being able to work from home and if you
are not locked into working certain hours then you definitely want to work with your
own body rhythm, your own circadian rhythm if you will at what hours you tend to be most
productive. Work on your schedule that way. Don't ever feel that you have to work you
know from 9 to 5.
