Move-in day was crowded with all our parents in here trying to make our beds, and everything.
We didn't really know each other.
We'd talked on Facebook a tiny bid, but not very much.
There was a lot of just like those first conversations where
you're asking where you're from and what you're studying and stuff.
You know you're not friends yet, but you're probably going to be friends.
The winter holidays were coming up and we spent like three hours one evening cutting out
snowflakes and listening to the Elf's soundtrack and singing
and hanging the snowflakes up. And it looks really cool now.
It's just really fun to decorate with your roommates; I think that's the most fun part of moving in.
Yea. Getting stuff to decorate your room with...
see what everyone brings
From early on we just obviously picked our beds, picked our desks and dresser. I think
with all those it's enough space to put all of your stuff on your desk
or your personal shelf.
When you're living in you should consider that there isn't too
much storage and
there's definitely not extra space, so
don't bring more than you need. (laughter)
Honestly I've started to like really like hanging out in here. Just because now we have it
really nicely decorated It's cozy, and it feels like home.
It's nice to come back here.
Especially when you come in and one of your
roommates is here, and you're like "Hey"!
Super excited... We scream at each other.
Our favorite thing to do in the room is probably to
play games together
We like to listen to music and watch movies.
We invite people over for board games
Being assigned to a triple room was really nice because
since I have two roommates
I always have someone to hang out with or eat with.
We like even sometimes adjusted our schedules so we can have like
meals together. We all took a yoga class together in the morning.
So that's nice.
In the beginning I was kinda worried that my roommates wouldn't respect my space or my time
uh... turned out that Eloise and Anna are really respectful roommate and we're able to
communicate well and talk about when we wanted quiet time to study even
though you're living with two other people in your room, it's always a good place to
study here. Everyone's respectful. I requested a double room,
but was put in a triple room and I'm really glad that that happened because I'm saving
a couple thousand dollars uh... and I get to live with two lovely ladies (laughter)
