Customer Service Centre Who's behind this service?
I've been working for Baloise for almost ten years.
I completed an insurance apprenticeship.
Since then I've worked mainly within the claims department.
I always find it moving when people call directly after an incident has occurred,
when they are emotional. It's very important for us to show empathy
and then try to respond to the customer in the best way possible, taking into account his or her emotional state.
I think that in order to be successful in this position, especially within the claims department, you have to really understand people
and show empathy towards them, while of course remaining professional.
And then the human side is very important.
We're a great team, people who work together really well
and there's a good working atmosphere - even in the slightly difficult moments when there's a lot to do.
