Web Author Workshop A: Part 7.3a - Colour Contrast Analyser
The Colour Contrast Analyser is a tool that tests the color contrast and brightness
between foreground and background colors used on Web pages to make sure that
the contrast is high enough for people with visual impairments to be able to see.
To download the Colour contrast Analyser, begin by click the Start button.
Mouse up to All Programs.
Launch Internet Explorer, or another web browser.
In the browser’s address bar, enter:
“http://www.accessibleinfo.org.au/“
When the page loads, continue scrolling down until you can see
the link for Web Accessibility on the left.
Click the link for “Web Accessibility.”
When the page loads,
continue scrolling down until you can see the section labeled “Resources,”
with a link underneath that said, “Colour Contrast Analyser.”
Click the “Colour Contrast Analyser” Link.
When the page loads, scroll down until you see “Download the Colour Contrast Analyser.”
Click “Download the CCA” link.
When the page loads, scroll down to the Download section.
Click the link labeled, “Colour Contrast Analyser 1.1 Zip.”
To start downloading the file, click Save.
Click the Desktop icon if, necessary.
Then click the Save button.
When downloading is complete, click the Close button.
