(Courtney - Instructor:) They are gonna work into
a county jail, a state prison system,
they may choose to work with juveniles.
(Tiffany:) Well, I really wanted to work
within my community ...
It's about 40 percent bookwork ...
... 60 percent hands-on.
(Wade - Student:) Our jail lab,
which is pretty awesome,
we don't see that anywhere else.

(Courtney:) Any scenario that they
may encounter in the field,
they've probably experienced it in school.
Corrections is one of the highest,
most stable, most demanding
jobs out there ... because there's
always gonna be criminals.
( background conversation )
So as long as we have people to put in custody,
we're always gonna have jobs.
(Tiffany:) It's a life changing experience.
(Wade:) If you like interesting things ...
you like trying new things every day ...
something that will challenge you ...
mentally and a little bit physically,
try the corrections program ...
It's really awesome.
