Hi.
My name is Sue B. Zimmerman, and sometimes known as SueBdo.
today, I want to talk about how to take your online
project and make it go viral, and in the process, how you
can meet some pretty amazing people.
You see, I was on Facebook recently--
well, I'm on Facebook every day.
But in my news stream, an amazing video
popped up about Gabe.
You see, Gabe has been a paraplegic for 20 years, and
he has a mission to roll his wheelchair from
California to New York.
And when I clicked in to watch that video, it took me to this
amazing Facebook page called Everyone Matters.
If you don't know about it, you should check it out.
It was there that I liked the video, and I left a comment.
And next morning, I woke up to a friend request by the
producer and director, Lisa France.
She then sent me a private message after I accepted her
request, telling me what their mission was, and I was so
taken back with this whole program, and wanted to get
involved in some way.
So I told her that I would do everything I could to help
them go viral online.
She was so appreciative, and we started talking, and I
mentioned to her that I have a daughter, Amanda, at American
University, who is actually the chapter leader for React
To Film, and is majoring in public communications and
minoring in cinema studios.
Lisa said, if there's anything I can do to help your
daughter, just let me know.
So this is exactly what I'm saying, that when you connect
online, and you get involved with something from your
heart, you really can get some amazing benefits out of the
whole experience.
And for me, this one was just being able to connect my
daughter to this amazing producer.
So I then clicked in to where the campaign is actually
posted, which is IndieGoGo.
And if you don't know about IndieGoGo, there is a search
bar in there.
And for this particular documentary, it's
called Roll With Me.
So go in there and check out the video, and
donate, if you can.
But if you can't, that's OK, because the way that things go
viral online is by getting more views.
So more views mean more money, and if you can simply just
share on Facebook, comment, or go to the website,
rollwithme.org and watch the video there as well,
and share that link.
On Twitter, you can follow the hashtag RollWithMe.
And hopefully, you will roll with us, and help them reach
their goal of raising $100,000.
They need money for absolutely everything to get from
California to New York.
And for me, it's being the captain of your soul, and
loving what you do.
And SueBdo does.
And I hope that you will help get involved
and take this viral.
Thanks so much for watching.
